About me
Ivorye Long is an Assistant Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Before joining the NCAA, Ivorye was a High School Teacher for 12 years and has coached Track and Field for the past 15 years. Ivorye earned both a bachelor’s (Computer Information Systems) and master’s degree (Sports Management) from The University of Indianapolis where she also was a two-sport student-athlete competing in both Women’s Track and Field and Women’s Soccer. Ivorye hopes
that her experience as a former NCAA student-athlete and educator paired with her passion to support student-athletes as they go through the process of NCAA initial eligibility will impact and inspire the upcoming generation as they pursue their dream of continuing their academic and athletic career at the collegiate level.
