The City Colleges of Chicago have made significant changes to the way that they serve students transitioning from Chicago Public Schools to their colleges. The Chicago Roadmap, an initiative designed specifically to create seamless pathways to high-demand, high-wage industries through CCC, works to ensure CCC-bound students are connected directly to the resources that facilitate progress towards their degree, credential or transfer destination.

The Chicago Roadmap encompasses several student-facing programs spanning middle-school to high school but please attend our session if you are interested in learning more about free end-of-the-year and summer transition supports for current seniors!

Alternative Program: Tassel Truancy Intervention Program
Monday March 31, 2025 11:25am - 11:55am CDT
Learn about the the Tassel Truancy Intervention Program. It is an online targeted credit obtainment/recovery program that serves chronically absent, off track seniors within 0.5-2 credits of graduating that have a unique barrier that does not allow them to attend in person instruction. These students are facing a unique barrier such as a work obligation, childcare responsibilities, or other severe disengagement that prevents them from attending school and therefore need a more direct path to graduation in order to mitigate the high probability of dropping out.
