Restorative Justice (RJ) is a culture that prioritizes community as a basic human need. It is a culture that upholds community safety and wellness--not by rules, punishment, or exclusion--but by fostering impactful relationships that inspire an increased commitment to taking care of each other.

While RJ has often been introduced to people as simply a response to conflict or as a disciplinary tool, it is much more expansive then that.

In this session, we will explore some of the fundamental beliefs/mindsets of Restorative Justice Culture, and how these beliefs--when put into action to proactively foster strong relationships--make the genuine and sustained transformation of school communities more possible!
